Phosphor 3 is the latest version of the Phosphor series of vintage digital synthesizers.

Phosphor is a clone of the alphaSyntauri, one of the first relatively affordable digital synthesizers that operated on the Apple II platform. It faithfully reproduces the additive synthesis engine of the alphaSyntauri, enabling an accurate replication of the classic and pioneering synth's sound.

The Phosphor 3 update introduces several enhancements including MPE support, tuning tables, extensive modulation capabilities, a new preset management system, and a completely redesigned reactive user interface.

Featuring two additive oscillators - with the original 16 partials reminiscent of the alphaSyntauri, or alternatively 32 or 64 partials - each equipped with its own amplitude envelope. Phosphor closely mirrors the architecture of the alphaSyntauri while integrating modern features like full velocity control, an expanded modulation routing system, tempo-synced LFOs, two monophonic modes, and dual delays. Both noise and oscillators can operate in the original alphaSyntauri "low-resolution" modes or in modern high-resolutions, offering an authentic replication of the alphaSyntauri sounds with avenues for innovative sonic exploration.

	<li>Two tempo-syncable LFOs with multiple modulation destinations.</li>
	<li>An extensive selection of presets showcasing Phosphor's powerful sound generation capabilities, including some renowned alphaSyntauri presets directly imported from the original hardware.</li>
	<li>TUN file support for loading alternative tuning setups and scales.</li>
	<li>MPE (MIDI Polyphonic Expression) compatibility for MPE controllers such as the Roli Seaboard, LinnStrument, and Sensel Morph.</li>
